Life Abroad

This past summer, summer 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to travel and work abroad in Italy as an au pair for two amazing children. My days were spent along the Tuscany coast, practicing Italian, and ensuring the children maintained their English skills in preparation for the upcoming school year.

I have always had a passion for traveling, and this summer was by far the bravest thing I have ever done. I traveled alone to a new country with little knowledge of the native language. Traveling is a priority in my life and will continue to be for years to come. There is so much to see and experience in every corner of the world, and these experiences are truly one in a million. Not only do you learn about different cultures, but you are also given the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

Through travel come unique experiences, meaningful connections, and the chance to broaden one’s perspective on the world. These experiences allow you to bring new ideas and viewpoints into the workplace while shaping you into a more confident, well-rounded individual.

Staying Active

Through my amazing experiences and my work with MUUZ, I have been a part of impactful social events. I have been asked to represent MUUZ at intimate social events in NYC, where I have had the opportunity to network and connect both MUUZ and myself with professionals across a range of industries, from luxury apparel to real estate.

I have helped spread MUUZ to women of all ages by connecting over fashion, navigating life in our 20s as women, and sharing advice on everything from travel to beauty and beyond. These events often combine Pilates, a powerful form of exercise that builds strength while also bringing peace of mind. After class, women are able to network, socialize, try local restaurants that catered the events, and learn about various sponsors, from Korean skincare and handmade jewelry to a new app that allows women to rent the chicest clothes from the coolest women in NYC, and more.

These events bring like-minded women into a space of calm and connection, allowing us to engage both professionally and personally. They have opened my eyes to new possibilities and have helped me bring MUUZ to a broader audience.
